THE 8TH INTERNATIONAL MONTREAL REGGAE FESTIVAL POSTER LAUNCH



  
This Friday May 6th 2011,Essence  Restaurant & Lounge will host the 8th Montreal International  Reggae Festival Poster Launch. Some of Montreal's hottest performers will be showcasing their talent at the inaugural event. 
Montreal, QC - The Essence Restaurant & Lounge, downtown Montreal will play host to The 8th Annual Montreal International Reggae Festival (MIRF) anticipated Poster Launch this Friday May 6th, 2011. The launch, scheduled to begin at 8p.m., will showcase some of the Montreal acts live as they give an enticing taste of what will take place at the Quays of The Old Port of Montreal on Saturday August 20th at 21st, 2011.
The momentum has steadily been building amongst the fans, the artists and the public in general and is been cited as one of the year’s and most anticipated reggae festival in Montreal history and a milestone for the reggae industry.
The event will start with an introduction of the MIRF team, followed by a wine tasting, Caribbean finger foods (compliments of Ma’s Place Catering) and an after party featuring Montreal’s DJ’s Firesquad, Jinx, DJ Cream, hosted by Anthony G and Mawga K from Montrealdancehall.com.
About the Montreal International Reggae Festival
The MIRF attracts many larger reggae acts and is slowly growing to be one of the most popular reggae events in Eastern North America. Since its foundation in 2004, the MIRF has ranked among the top annual festivals held in Montreal each year that currently attracts over 50,000 people with fans traveling from across the globe to attend. It’s a 2-day weekend-long event that is by far the largest of its kind in Canada held in one of Montreal’s hottest touristic outdoor venues; the Quays of The Old Port of Montreal.
