JAMAICA DAY SATURDAY JULY 9TH 2011 AT PARK JEAN DRAPEAU



The Jamaica Association of Montreal Inc. in association with Les Weekends du Monde au Parc Jean-Drapeau invites all Montrealers to the beautiful Île Sainte-Hélène to celebrate the 2011 edition of the Jamaica Day Festival.

This will be the 31st edition of the Jamaica Day Festival. This event will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2010 from 12:00 noon – 10pm.

The Jamaica Day Festival 2011 will be a fun-filled day for the whole family. There will be activities for children as well as musicians, arts and crafts displays, food booths, access to the swimming pool; likewise spectators will be able to witness the Montréal International Fireworks Competition from an excellent view point.

Featured entertainers for this year includes: Lady Benz, Nikki T, Kya Kindu, Clifton Culture, Richilous, Jah Riley, JoJoe, Trevor Reid, King Mee, Dan Fiyah Beats, Juliette Nelson, Rudy Mills, Robin, Skillman, Maytone, Shadrock, Jah Cutta, Mello, Orthodox Issachar, First Lady (Saint Vincent) and live appearance by Konshens (Jamaica).

Music will be supplied by DJ Supersonic, Road Warrior, James Bond, Johnny Black, DJ Foot and more.
