MONTREAL REGGAE FESTIVAL DAY 1


The quays of the old port of Montreal was home to the Montreal International Reggae Festival last night.The show that started with the disappointing news that dancehall star Mavado performance was cancelled due to legal woes.

The audience, representing young men and women, families kept the momentum of the festival going by enjoying the music, food and performances by local artists.Toronto's Exco Levi, started out the festival strong by captivating the crowd with his voice.









Host Chris Bush and JD kept the audience hype with music spun by Plat'num sound, Crystal and Predita Sound.


Reggae artist Jah Vinci electrified the crowd with his performance.He interacted with fans,surprised the audience with sneakers from his new line and a cameo in his new music video.

Gyptian enticed the ladies with his melodic voice and infamous roar to the delight of many in the audience.




Tonight's Day 2 with scheduled performance by Beres Hammond, Wayne Wonder and Third World.
