COMMUNITY NEWS:PLAY MAS WITH MONTREAL'S OWN CARNIVAL FREAKS MAS BAND 2012

Montreal's very own Mas band CARNIVAL FREAKS "CFMB" is Montreal's Youngest & Newest band To touch the "Montreal Carifiesta" Stage in [2011] no less than a year ago..

Carnival freaks Mas band was created in 2011 by A Young team of Promoters & DJ's, to whom was lead by a young Entrepreneur /promoter, DJ & MC by the name of Ledon Anthony other wise known by the people as Anthony G. Ledon Anthony has no mas building back ground what so ever, but has played mas at a young age in his mother land Grenada, however despite the poor creative experience Ledon has over 12 years of Marketing/Promoting within the Montreal Caribbean & Urban market under his belt & knows very well his clientele.

So It all begun & on Saturday July 9th,2011 it was indeed Carnival Freaks 'CFMB' first time on the "Montreal Carifiesta" Stage, with over 50 Masqueraders & 3 beautiful Costume section the Theme was "PURENESS OF LIFE" it was without a doubt a success for our first year as we represent the freedom of celebration & our culture through the unified expression of our very own Music Calypso & Soca..

To Ledon in his own words "My goal was to bring in more of the young people to learn & get to know of their culture that was lost & as well invite the Canadians to learn about it. But being A band Leader & promoting mas is nothing like putting together an event, i though it was but i was proven wrong in 2011 lol the hard work & time/last nights & early mornings, made me gain more & more passion for it"

Now we are in a new year, 2012 as we about to launch a new era & introduce the new team of the CARNIVAL FREAKS CAMP, This year we are a source of 2 different bands yes as you know Ledon Anthony & his team but we have welcome another younge & new member by the name of WENDY from last years "ROYAL FANTASY MAS BAND" .

Wendy a younger inspiring female & one who have been building mas for almost 5 years in back ground of a few large Montreal Bands, we are happy to say that this year we are ready to take CARNIVAL FREAKS MAS BAND to the next level with Wendy's creative skills & Ledon Anthony marketing & Promoting master brains this year theme is "A FLIGHT THROUGH THE AMAZON" so yes lots of wings & Feathers will be presented in this years creation..
