NO BAIL FOR VYBZ KARTEL: BAIL GRANTED FOR HIS FASHION DESIGNER

Dancehall star Vybz Kartel remains behind bars,while members of his entourage, are granted bail.

Vybz Kartel’s fashion designer Calvin Moonie Haye was granted bail in the sum of one million dollars with one or two sureties while the ‘World Boss’ and Shawn Storm were again remanded.

No application was made for Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm as the defense is still awaiting outstanding documents regarding the case against the two.

Attorney at law Christian Tavares-Finson who is a member of Vybz Kartel’s legal team says while they are frustrated with the process; they are preparing their defense and are ready for a trail whenever required.

Christian Tavares-Finson also explains the basis on which Kartel’s fashion designer Moonie was granted bail.

Vybz Kartel, Moonie and fellow Gaza member Shawn Storm are charged in relation to the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. The men are to return to court on February 17.

Vybz Kartel who has been jail since October last year was charged with murder, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of ganja.
